Keith and Andrea Waara [Lead Pastors]
Keith and Andrea contend for God’s ever increasing Kingdom and desire to see the body of Christ restored to what God intended it to be; a force of redemption and love on the earth. They believe wholeheartedly that the message of Jesus resounds in the heart of every man. They are pressing in for Kingdom expansion among the emerging generation. Keith and Andrea have three kids, Jewel, Faith, and Lakin. Keith currently serves as an Assistant Pastor at First Assembly and is the Lead Pastor of this vibrant young adults movement called Tehillah Monday.
Clay Rans [Assistant Pastor, Pastoral Care]
Clay has been a part of Tehillah Monday in some way, shape or form since the beginning. He loves the passion that comes from different churches gathering together to worship and hear from God. Determined to see God’s love touch our city, Clay wants to see healthy Christ followers reaching the world around them. His experience in Pastoral Care, gives him a unique outlook on life and the needs of people around him. Clay oversees Pastoral Care at Tehillah Monday. He also has a big passion for small groups. He believes that there is something special that happens when a group of people get together on purpose. Whether it is to study the bible or feed the poor, God shows up. Clay also serves as the Young Adult Pastor of First Assembly Church.
Shannon Dean [Assistant Pastor, Tehillah Movement and Mission]
Shannon has been a part of Tehillah Monday for just over 6 years. He is passionate about people coming to realize the potential they have inside of them to do great things for the kingdom of God and to be history makers in the world. He believes that Tehillah is a beautiful expression of the kingdom and is involved in helping to establish Tehillah's all over the world. Shannon sees the bible as an action story and believes that Christians are being called to act upon injustice and to unconditionally serve others. He has been a teacher for 11 years and is currently completing his masters in education with a focus on leadership. Shannon is married to an amazing woman, Michelle, and has two incredible children, Julia and Evan.
Michael Larson [Worship Pastor]
Michael Larson is a worship leader and songwriter. The love of gospel music was infused in his heart at a very young age by his parents, and grand-parents, who were involved in music in some shape or form. The author of the song "Freedom Reigns" continues to travel internationally as a worship leader and advocate for the child sponsorship organization Compassion. Michael is currently a part of the worship community at First Assembly Church where he serves on the pastoral team as the Lead Worship & Arts Pastor. He gives leadership to the worship at Tehillah Monday and believes that when people get together and sing it is powerful, it gives us hope, direction, understanding and encouragement. Michael is truly honoured and thankful to say that his life is centred on the act of worship. He is married to Jennie and they have two children, Emma and Ethan.
Ariel Wood [Administration]
Ariel is the administrator and the assistant to the Lead Pastor for Tehillah. She also gives leadership to the Exalt Dance Team. Ariel is passionate about seeing young people become disciples of Chirst and she has a heart for worship and for ministering to young women. She enjoys using her administrative skills and organized personality to assist others in leading the ministries of Tehillah Monday. She belives that living life with God and on purpose is the only way to experience the great joys and adventures this life has to offer. Ariel grew up on Vancouver Island and then moved to Calgary in 2004, where she currently lives with her husband Lance.
